Machinery Conformity Restoring
Ask this service to restore the safety of machineries and production lines in use
We provide a highly specialized service for the compliance of equipment installed at plants all around Europe according to the Machinery Directive and local minimum requirements.
We adopt a systematic approach to the revamping of plants based on our high degree of specialization in consultancy on matters relating to the Machinery Directive and our experience in the design and manufacture of plants and automation systems.
The uniqueness of our approach allows us to guarantee the most complete technical support for the revamping of production equipment. Specifically, we carry out:
- GAP Analysis to identify the deficiencies of the machinery with respect to the safety requirements set down by the mandatory legislation. This analysis of non-conformities helps the manager of the prevention and protection service, the HSE Manager and the equipment safety managers to plan interventions according to priority, estimate the costs, and carry out each revamping project to schedule.
- Targeted inspection and detailed risk analysis (also available remotely)
- Technical documentation and safety report issuing for the next remediations
- Adjustments and tests carried out accordingly with our networks of partners
- Monitoring of the relevant documentation certifying the conformity of the equipment made available to workers in accordance with EC requirements or Annex I of the Machinery Directive 2009/104/EC
Lastly, on request, we conduct additional activities including noise tests and electrical tests on the certified machine. We can also perform an earthing continuity test on the electrical panels, thereby covering every need during the testing phase.

Maintaining Machine Conformity
Ask this service to monitor the conformity of production lines
Maintaining compliance is a complex task as machinery is often subject to modification, maintenance or tampering.
We can guarantee complete technical support for maintaining the CE conformity of machinery thanks to our high degree of specialization in consultancy on matters relating to the Machinery Directive and our operational experience in the design and manufacture of automation systems. We offer a routine conformity inspection service.
The purpose of this service is to:
- Identify the technical measures required to ensure compliance with the applicable requirements
- Check that no substantial changes have been made to the machinery
- Check for any regulatory updates that impact compliance
- Affix inspection seals (where possible), also to protect against tampering or removal
To make this process quicker and more efficient, we use H-DOCS, the proprietary software we developed for monitoring the relevant documentation and that today represents real digital support for HSE functions.
The seal affixed to the machinery contains a QR Code that, through H-DOCS, can be traced back to the relevant reports and compliance documentation.
The digital seal can be affixed to different types of equipment to facilitate visual inspection of:
- Fixed guards
- Mobile guards and interlocking devices
- Emergency devices
- Protection of the electrical panels
Find out more: visit H-DOCS website or request a demo.
Upon completion, it is possible to request the execution of electrical controls and tests on the safety functions of the machine (emergency buttons, accesses, speed controls, jog controls) for safe stopping and equipotential bonding.

Machinery Conformity Training
Training in the Machinery Directive
On-the-job training on the conformity of machinery is a training for personnel responsible for machine safety on the compliance requirements according to the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and harmonized standards.
The purpose of the training in the Machinery Directive is to help the persons responsible for conformity of the equipment gain essential knowledge of the requirements of the Directive and harmonized product regulations. Familiarity with the directives and technical standards is fundamental not only for the design of the equipment, but also for the management and fulfillment of the essential health and safety requirements.
The training sessions can be held either online or in person according to the needs and number of participants.
The training program is carried out on-the-job, offering conceptual and operational assistance for the personnel during the entire process of restoring the conformity of the equipment on site according to the legislative requirements.
The program covers in detail the Machinery Directive and the applicable general product directives, harmonized standards and product directives, with the aim of training personnel according to a technical-management approach.
The training sessions are held by experts with many years of theoretical and practical experience in the application of directives such as the Machinery Directive, ATEX Directive and PED Directive, and involve the following modules:
1. Process relating to conformity of work equipment
2. The Machinery Directive and application to company equipment
3. Other product directives
4. Safety automation
The skills acquired can be used to immediately manage these issues within your organization. The participation is proved by the certificate of attendance.

IEC 62061 Training
On-the-job training on machine safety requirements is a training for personnel responsible for the safety of machinery and systems due to our knowledge of the pillars of the IEC 62061 standard.
The goal of our IEC 62061 standard training is to support the roles responsible for designing equipment in acquiring key skills regarding the functional safety requirements of machinery that use systems equipped with elcontrol system safety-oriented technology. Knowledge of the IEC 62061 requirements is essential for machine safety with a significant impact on the safety of people, the environment, and the infrastructure itself.
Both online and in-person training days can be organized based on what is needed and the number of participants.
The training program develops on the job, as it theoretically and practically follows company roles through the entire complex machinery design process in conformity with functional safety requirements.
In fact, the training plan goes into depth on the IEC 62061 standard and the functional safety principles applicable to the machinery to obtain the required SIL with the purpose of training personnel through a technical-operational approach.
Training sessions are given by TÜV Rheinland-certified training specialists with longstanding theoretical and operating experience in the functional safety field and cover the following modules:
- IEC 61508 and IEC 62061
- SCS (Safety-Related Control System) Design
- Pre-design Subsystem Use
- Safety Lifecycle
- Risk assessment and assigning the SIL
The skills acquired can be used to immediately manage these issues within your organization. The participation is proved by the certificate of attendance.
