Collaboration system

DIV-CO

DIV-CO is a collaboration system designed for remote inspectionand technical discussion throughimmersive teleconferencing.

DIV-CO is a remote collaboration system created to optimize the survey work and reduce contact between customer’ staff and our technicians during inspections. The experience with the pandemic COVID-19 has taught us that technology allows us to offer the utmost efficiency and collaboration, even when distance separates us. Technological advancement is not stopping, even once health conditions go back to normal: this represents the advancement of business processes, only possibile by introducing new systems and procedures able to optimize the on-time delivery of our services, still keeping our offer unchanged in terms of efficiency, speed and flexibility.

DIV-CO is the feasible alternative for any situation in whici potential restrictions could prevent inspection and survey work – necessary to gather information in the field. DIV-CO offers the option of using remote inspection systems and new, advanced immersive conference room technology to allow technical discussions to be held, likewise, remotely.

Collaboration reborn

DIV-CO represents a future increasingly geared toward significant technological advancement, made of cutting edge devices able to guarantee an immersive experience in carrying out crucial activities, such as those related to the safety of products and people.

DIV-CO can be applied in two different ways:

Work with building entry (HI-TECH – NO MEETING)

  • Preliminary sharing of existing documents (machine layouts, technical diagrams, software, procedures, manuals, P&IDs, and mechanical drawings)
  • The assigned H-ON Consulting technician will arrive at reception, equipped with “special” PPE (mask, gloves, goggles, disposable coveralls, if necessary)
  • The technician will immediately be taken to the system, machine, or component to be inspected, will not interact with staff, ask questions, attend meetings, or use customer facilities but will simply record an HD video of the machine
  • The system used is a high-tech wearable device that leaves the technician’s hands free while simultaneously allowing him/her to view the technical documents needed during the inspection, including machine layouts, technical diagrams, software, procedures, manuals, P&IDs, and mechanical drawings
  • Once the inspection is complete, the technician will leave the customer’s establishment, once again only interacting with the reception staff
  • The H-ON Consulting technician will draw up the preliminary documents
  • Specific questions will be prepared that our technician can ask key personnel in order to finalise the preliminary documents and to clarify the contents of the shared video, if necessary. The personnel involved in this stage are: operators, maintenance technicians, production, designers, Product Manager, and HSE Manager
  • Conference call with specific dates for each of the above roles, lasting a maximum of 1-2 hours per call so as to optimise time
  • Conference calls are managed with cutting edge devices that ensure an immersive experience and allow us to make up for the lack of face-to-face meetings
  • The final documents will be delivered with discussion via conference call

Work without building entry (HI-TECH – SHARING ONLY)

  • Preliminary sharing of existing documents (machine layouts, technical diagrams, software, procedures, manuals, P&IDs, and mechanical drawings)
  • An in-house operator will record an HD video, following the instructions provided by an assigned H-ON Consulting technician on what the video is to contain. The high-tech device used by our technicians may even be shipped to the establishment to make recording the video easier for the customer
  • The video will be shared on a file-sharing platform with the option of using any customer systems that may already be in place
  • The H-ON Consulting technician will draw up the preliminary documents
  • Specific questions will be prepared that our technician can ask key personnel in order to finalise the preliminary documents and to clarify the contents of the shared video, if necessary. The personnel involved in this stage may be: operators, maintenance technicians, production, designers, Product Manager, and HSE Manager
